Probably worth alot and it's probably centuries
I also have a Howard Miller 612-581 clock that was made in 1984. I checked with a local clock repair shop this morning. They looked up the value in a catalog. It is now worth between $1100 and $1500. That's not bad for a clock that was purchased in 1985 for $450.
I found the model number on the back of my clock. Mine is an older clock, probably from the 1970's.
Please give me the names of some Barwick clocks by Hower Miller.
The MSRP is $1359.73 on the Howard Miller website.
I just paid $31.00 for a model 61208,if that helps.
Something is worth only what another is willing to pay for it.
