Value depends on condition. It makes a huge difference in price when the gun is in 97% or better. Most of the late 1940's guns run $300 to $600 in price. A mint gun could go for $1000+ A professional appraisal is recommended
This is an oddball serial nuber. The A prefix was used as an interim alpha character. There were 10,900 guns made with the A prefix and all were shipped to browning between late 1957 and early 1958. Exact dates are mixed as to the serial number itself. Its probably safe to say your gun was made in 1958 being so close to the high number. Value can only be determined by condition and originality. Have a gunshop appraise it. Auto5man
