How much is worth a 1935 silver certified dollar bill with the serial number 1935D?

To clear things up, it's a silver certificate, not a silver certified bill, and 1935 D is the bill's series date. The serial number is the 10-character combination of 2 letters and 8 numbers that's printed twice on each bill as a counter and security feature. There's more information at the Related Question.

How do you know the date of a US 1 dollar silver certificate?

All US bills from the 1920s onward carry a "series" date but not the actual printing date. The series date is in roughly the same place on all bills, normally to the right of the portrait. Determining roughly when a $1 silver certificate was printed can be slightly difficult. Up till the 1970s, the Treasury tended to change series dates only when a bill was redesigned, and the 1935 series used the same design from its introduction until it was discontinued some thirty years later! Here's a list of approximate printing dates, based on the letter next to the year: 1935, 1935A : 01/1935 - 07/1945 1935B : 07/1945 - 07/1946 1935C : 07/1946 - 05/1949 1935D : 06/1949 - 01/1953 1935E : 01/1953 - 07/1957 1935F, 1957 : 07/1957 - 01/1961 1935G, 1957 A : 01/1961 - 04/1962 1935H, 1957B 01/1963 - 03/1965

1935D silver certificate with original signatures of Georgia Neese Clark and John W Snyder Uncirculated Would you know the value?

Revised answer following message exchanges: My suggestion would be to have the bill checked by both an autograph dealer and a currency dealer. Unfortunately autograph values are not in my area of expertise so I would not want to try to guess.

What district is a Silver certificate 1935d serial M53329554G from?

Only Federal Reserve Notes (green seal) are associated with specific Federal Reserve districts. Silver certificates, U.S. notes, National Currency and so on do not have any district markings. Also, this site has a Coins and Currency thread that is more appropriate to questions about, uh, coins and currency. Money and Credit is generally for questions about credit cards, finances, checking accounts, etc.

How much is a 1935 Buffalo nickel worth?

There were 3 types of 1925 nickels minted, one had no mint mark (Philadelphia) mintage 35,565,100,D was for Denver mintage 4,450,000 and S for San Francisco mintage 6,256,000. The mint mark is under the words five cents, on the buffalo side. The Philly sells for a dollar or so in grade good, Denver about $10 and the SF for around $5. These are retail prices you would get less. One thing to bring to your attention is the grade. If you have a high grade one, with a good strike, it can be worth some big bucks especially the D and S ones. They are rare in high grades and most coins of this date, do not make it to very fine. To help you grade your coin look at the horn on the buffalo. Horn worn off grade good,1/2 horn grade very good, 3/4 horn grade fine, full horn grade is very fine. Above that grade. you need to have a dealer grade it for you. There is a lot involved On the 1935 Indian/Buffalo 5 Cents there might be a mint mark below FIVE CENTS (plain, Philadelphia; D, Denver; S, San Francisco). 1935p $1 to $3, 1935D $1 to $8, and 1935S $1 to $3.50 are the retail value ranges if you still can not distinguish the tip of the buffalo's horn. 1935p $25, 1935D $80, and 1935S $60 are the minimum retail values for like new coins. By the way, "E Pluribus Unum" is Latin for "Out of many, one." I hope that helps.FINALLY DONE!
