Apparently in 1966 the "rebel" Rhodesian Government decided to issue a set of gold coins to commemorate the first anniversary of the UDI.
There were apparently 2000 of the sets issued. (which is not a lot really). The gold content is 1.529 ounces. So at current gold price the coins will be worth approximately $2905 / €2017. There will obviously be a bit of a premium to add to a collector. There is generally a 10% premium on coins so €2200 roughly at todays spot price of $1900. This will obviously rise and fall as the gold spot price does.
