These were heavily mass-produced by the Royal Mint, so only a few pounds at most. Coins struck in silver have a scrap value - weigh them and calculate their value at £14 per 31.1035 grammes. Silver is at a 30 year high (October 2010)

In mint condition and uncircuated around 50p MAX. They were mass produced and struck in cupro-nickel...an alloy of copper and nickel. They will NEVER have any real collectors' value.
