i have one with a serial of 39667 how much would it be worth
The 870 Remington shotgun used to be a popular candidate for a "release" trigger.
plz help me what is the difference between a prime minster and a chief minster
The Remington 870 is a type of shotgun which is known as "pump action". The Remington 870 requires the individual to "pump" the shotgun following each pull of the trigger. It is considered to have a slow rate of fire due to the pump action which is required.
Best to ask a gunsmith for help.
good quistion when ya find out let me know also
Open the action. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER WHILE YOU DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Type your answer here... how do I adjust the trigger on Remington 799
Depends on what your shotgun is. If you have one of the older hammered shotguns (exposed hammer), you can decock them the same way you would any other firearm with an exposed hammer - you gently lower the hammer with your thumb. If you have a shotgun which doesn't have an exposed hammer, your only feasible way of going about this is to empty the magazine, be especially certain to ensure that the chamber is empty, and pull the trigger.

Well, Remington made several models of SXS shotguns from 1873 until 1900 that had double triggers. The earlier models (1873 to 1889) had outside (exposed) hammers. Those made from 1894 until 1900 had the hammers inside the receiver. Your serial number puts this shotgun in the production year of 1902, so it would be a Model 1900. Depending on which "GRADE" you have and the condition it is in, it could be worth anywhere between $200.00 and $1,100.00. These shotguns were made with Damascus twist steel, which means that you should NOT fire modern shotshells in this shotgun as they were designed for blackpowder shells only. Your best bet would be to have it appraised by someone you trust.
Timney makes a great aftermarket trigger for the Remington model 700,that will fit your Remington model 722 rifle.
