The Ten Shilling note was a component of a now redundant currency used by many Commonwealth countries. Ten Shillings was equal to half a Pound or 120 Pence. At the time of Australia's conversion to decimal currency in February, 1966, Ten Shillings converted to One Dollar (AUD). Any collector value on a Ten Shilling note would depend on its condition, Serial Number and the signatories.

To make any sort of an estimate at value, the signatories and serial number would be required.

The Australian Ten Pound note was first issued in 1913 and there were five different designs issued between 1913 and 1960. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1966 at the introduction of decimal currency. At the time of the currency conversion, Ten Pounds became Twenty Dollars.

The first issue from 1913 to 1925 was blue and featured a wheat carting scene on the back. Any of these notes in any reasonable condition would be quite valuable.

The second issue from 1925 to 1934 was red and featured King George V on the front and the same wheat carting scene on the back. Any of these notes in any reasonable condition would be quite valuable.

The third issue from 1934 to 1940 was red and featured King George V on the front and an agricultural Bas-relief design on the back. Any of these notes in any reasonable condition would be valuable.

The fourth issue from 1940 to 1954 was red and featured King George VI on the front and the same agricultural Bas-relief design on the back. Any of these notes in any reasonable condition would be valuable.

The fifth and final issue from 1954 to 1960 was red and featured Governor Arthur Phillip on the front and and engraving symbolising secondary industries and science on the back. Any of these notes in any reasonable condition would be valuable.
