The Colt SAA has become more rare in any condition and the old idea that a refinished gun has little value is a complete distortion of the reality of the market place. Every honest Colt SAA Gun (original parts and not doctored up) has a market and will sell at $1,000-$2000 in todays market regardless of reblueing or refinishing. Though a refinished Colt SAA does not bring the higher values or interest an experienced collector.
