I have had occasion to sell a few back to Danbury for series that I didnt want to continue with, and got LESS than what I originally paid for them each time. If you know of any site that would help get better prices for these plates, please let me know! LOL
10 million dollars
yes it's worth about 600 dollars depending it's condition Without autograph vintage postcard as little child 8-10 Euro's each, 10-12 US $, that's the right price. As a adult much less 4-6 Euro's.
I found somewhere where it said if it's still in original mint box that It could he worth 125$ it might help to do a little research. I would think those dolls would be expensive
Well, if you go on eBay Canada, the Shirley Temple dolls really do not have an exact price. If you search SHIRLEY TEMPLE 27" "RANGER" ALL ORIG, RARE,LOW RESERVE!, the price is C $490.40. I think it means it's on sale from 1,172.06. It is quite funnyC $1,172.06because if you scroll Dow you see some on sale from 14.70 to 9.76! Wierd isn't it?Well, if you scroll Dow once or twice more, you will see the non-understandable one:on sale from 112.60 to 39.23.So I don't know if this answer's your question, and I am sorry if it doesn't. But basiclly, long story short, it really depends! If you are trying to sell one, then it's up to you. If you are trying to buy one then I think I would because I think it has pretty good value if it was on sale from over one thousand dollars!
The "price" or value of any antique doll (pre-1935), including Shirley Temple always varies in the consideration of it's condition, size & style, rarity, appeal & demand among collectors, & it's level of originality (repair history, clothes, wig, shoes, etc.). There is never a set value on the secondary market for collectibles because it's as fickle as the economy and as loyal as the collectors who change their mind. The best way to research a general value for a 1934 Shirley Temple doll, is by comparing the final selling prices on completed on-line auction listings. Recently, a 13 inch, mint in box, all original, 1934 Shirley Temple Doll sold on eBay for $1,650.79. It also had unique attributes, such as signed photos and provenance. Here is the link to that completed auction, which may only be visible for a limited time on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130428731245

Coins produced by private mints such as Danbury are only worth the bullion or melt value. There is absolutely no collector value.
absolutely as he is over 80 yrs now and still alive. She was the most famous child star of all time.
We have the eightpiece set. They are in very good condition. Can you give an estimate of worth?
The price of plates go up and down. A bit like the stock market. For a collector of plates there is a collectors book that lists plates by maker, year, and name of the plate. The book shows the purchase price of the plate and the secondary market value of the plate. eBay can also give an approximate current value of the plate. Plate prices are determined by what the buyer/collector will pay.
