Oddly, it's One Gallon
A gallon is about 3.8 liters - a gallon is bigger.
In this problem we have two given quantities of 3 percent (.03) and a volume of 1 US Customary/Imperial gallon. 1 gallon equals 128 ounces. In order to answer the question we multiple .03 by 128 to get 3.84 ounces.
A gallon measures volume of water not distance.
A gallon is a measure of VOLUME, not of distance. It cannot be translated to area.
A gallon is a measure of volume, and inches is a measure of length. They are not interconvertible.
1 US gallon of water equates to 0.133681 cubic feet.
Two liters has more volume than 1/2 US gallon.
The volume is 1 gallon
The answer depends on the volume of a part of the cleaner.
A gallon is about 3.8 liters - a gallon is bigger.
1 gallon
1 Gallon = 128 fluid ounces (volume not weight) That's a US gallon. An Imperial gallon is 160 ounces, but the ounces aren't the same size as US ounces. Nevertheless, an Imperial gallon is larger. Using litres and millilitres to measure volume solves this confusion. (Of course the US doesn't use Imperial gallons, but here in Canada we did prior to going metric.)
1 gallon.
Multiply your number of US gallons liters by 3.7854 you'll be close to the number of liters in the same volume. Multiply your number of liters by 0.2642 and you'll be close to the number of US gallons in the same volume.
The volume 1 US gallon is 3.785411748 liters. 1 liter of pure water weighs 1 kilogram. 1 US gallon of water is 3.785411748 kilograms.

You cannot compare them directly: a gallon is a unit of volume while centimeters are length. However, a gallon is very much larger than the volume 15 cubic centimeters (cc). There are 3785.4 cubic centimeters to the US gallon.
