filament
A filament.
If you are talking about an incandescent light bulb then its called a filament. It is thin so that it has a high level of resistance. Current going through the filament causes it to heat up and give off EM radiation in the spectrum of visible light.
A tiny light bulb with a reflector is lit up with a battery. The switch connects the electric circuit; the power flows through the wire and the bulb lights up.Current through resistive filament of globe produces heat and light.Well first there's these two batteries inside it, then there's a wire inside it connecting it to the light bulb. then it makes one light bulb or more light by the energy of the battery. that makes the flashlight light. also there's a switch that connects a wire. if you pull the wire forward it will connect and make it light. but the opposite way makes the part of the switch go back and the light bulb won't light.
The brightness of a light bulb directly has no direct relationship with magnets and wire. The bulbs brightness is determined by the wattage of the bulb. The higher the wattage of the bulb the brighter the bulbs light output.
The wire inside of an electrical light bulb is called a "filament". The word filament comes from the Latin word "filum" which means "thread". In various fields there are many different types of filaments with different uses, however the ones inside of light bulbs are made out of tungsten and work by super-heating by passing electricity through it.

the wire in your light bulb is a resistor :)
Filament
the inside of a light bulb is called the filament
This was called a filament and was found in older electric light bulbs.

In an incandescent light bulb the wire that gives off the light is called the Filament.
a filament
The part of the wire that actually produces all the heat and light is the "filament".
Its a coiled tungsten filament.
A light bulb has a filament wire inside made of nichrome. When electricity is passed through this wire it lights up brightly. If this happens in air the wire burns out and breaks. To stop this, bulbs are filled with a non flammable gas called argon that allows the wire to glow without breaking because there is no oxygen inside the bulb.
first of all, you need a bulb, a wire, and ONE light bulb. You clip the wire on the battery and touch the wire on the bottom of the light bulb
It is the extremely thin wire inside the bulb. It is so thin that when the electricity goes through produce light, when that filament breaks the bulb is not good.
