There is no such thing as 'zip codes' in the UK! The nearest thing (very similar/ identical) is our 'postcode' system. Each address in the UK has a postcode allocated to it. This may be specific to a premises (maybe a large business), or may cover multiple residences within a residential road/street, etc.

Go to the related link below if you want to find a UK postcode.

The UK is a country made up of various counties. Each area has a different postal code, we don't have just one.
In the UK "postcodes" are used to help direct post to its destination. Most postcodes for the city of Oxford start OX, with addresses in the city centre starting OX1. For example, the postcode for the Bodleian Library is OX1 3BG.

The zip code system is the system of postal codes used by the US postal service and only covers the USA. England, and the rest of the UK have a different system of post codes, based in letters and numbers e.g. AB1(2) 3(4)CD (Digits in brackets may not be used in all post codes) The first two letters refer to the postal district, the first set of digits represent the 'post town' (larger towns and cities consist of more than one 'post town'), the second set of digits represent a sector of the post town and the last set of letters represents a small group of houses.
according to englands history..they don't have a zipcode..they uses a technician address

England a country within the UK (neither being a town or a city) doesn't have a zip code. The towns and cities within England have their own codes although they're not called zip codes but "post codes".

The United Kingdom (which includes England) has millions of different post codes which can even identify a single building if it is big enough. The post code of a residential address will usually include about 10 other properties. A typical London post code will look something like this: SE27 4RH

There are approximately 1.8 million postcodes in the UK. A UK postcode is broken down into two halves.

The first part of the postcode is known as the 'Outward code' - this is used to make sure the mail gets to the correct postal area and district:

The outward code consists of letters and numbers, the letters indicate the postal area and the numbers indicate the postcode district.

For example, 'L1' would mean that the address is within district 1 of the Liverpool area and 'IP14' would mean that the address is in district 14 of the Ipswich area.

In London, a further letter may be added onto the end of the outward code to divide some districts further. For example, EC1A is in subdivision A of district 1 of the Eastern Central postcode area.

It's worth noting that the postal area does not necessarily correspond to the nearest town or city.

The second part of a postcode is known as the 'Inward code', this is always a number followed by two letters. The Inward Code is used to help the delivery office sort the post into the correct routes for delivery.

The number indicates the sector and the letters indicate the 'postmans walk' (which postman's route the address is on).

For example, 5GJ is on the GJ route for sector 5.

'England United Kingdom' does not have a post code. A post code WITHIN the UK is a code made up of letters and numbers that is specific to a building or address - or it may be shared by several smaller properties adjacent to each other. Typically, a postcode will begin with one or more letters followed by 0ne or more numbers, then a space followed by one or more numbers, followed by one or more letters; for example DL12 7BQ, B3 9AS, etc
