After that such newly setup universities need to send an authentic copy of act to UGC, Delhi, which will recognize it as private university under section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956. Its not a deemed university. UGC grant Deemed Univ tag under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 only to extraordinary performing institutions. Currently SGUniv is registered as private univ with UGC, Delhi.
