The value depends on several factors such as who made it (many were handmade), condition, originality, quality, etc. A low cost gun in excellant condition would be worth more than a very expensive gun with enlays, carvings, and such in poor condition usually. I recently paid $150.00 for a gun in fair shape but of unknown orgin because of the buildup of dirt and grime. One hammer was broken and both nipples were hammered flat from dry firing but the gun was well made and easily restorable. I would estimate this gun to be worth maybe $1,000 and up if it were in very good condition and then more if it were from a famous maker. Jim Miller
