If there are no markings on the barrel or receiver, look where the gun opens. The flat is the water table & there is often information there. Also, look at the barrel flats, the part of the barrels that touch the water table & the lug which locks the barrels to the receiver. If there is no data there, it just a field gun with only shooting value if it was made to shoot smokeless…
