Christian Answer:Natural reasons:

• Men have a penis, women have vaginas. Those are our natural sex organs.
• Either an animal has one gender and reproduces with the other gender, or it is asexual and reproduces with itself. (Or it doesn't reproduce).
• Never does one gender reproduce with one of the same gender, although reproduction is not a requirement for love and marriage.

Christian reasons:

• God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. (Note: Actually, according to Christianity and Judaism, God made everybody).
• If He had meant for homosexuality to be right, He would have made more than just one man and one woman, (he also wouldn't have created gay people).
• Also The Bible condemns homosexuality:
• ** Leviticus 18:22 "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." (Direct quote from NIV, by the way, I'm not meaning to be inflammatory, although this quote never mentions homosexuality).
  • Leviticus 20:13 13 " 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (Again, no mention of homosexuality; it only mentions a situation. There are many interpretations).

Take into account that these were laws intended to keep Israel pure. As you can see, God feels strongly on this subject yet He still offers his forgiveness.

• Just because the Bible says they should be put to death in ancient Israel does not mean that anyone should kill them today, so don't try it!!!

Human/Jewish Answer:Sexual orientation is natural and unchangeable. It isn't right or wrong. Leviticus never mentions homosexuality, and the verses quoted above are specifically interpreted by fundamentalists to harm gay people. Sin is about choice. Since sexual orientation is not a choice, it can't be a sin. It's not even a sin to pursue love as a gay person, because that same Bible says that a man should not be alone (Genesis 2:18), and the drive to find love is particularly strong in humans.

The above "natural reasons" are all ridiculous, and not a single reason actually shows that homosexuality is wrong (only that two people of the same gender can't procreate...yet). Human sexuality is far more complex than that.

The Biblical reasons listed above are tired excuses. Christians are so one-sided one the issue, they lack the ability to look at other interpretations. Jewish tradition says that there are 70 interpretations for everything in the Bible. As for Leviticus 18:22, one interpretation is that this law is directed at heterosexual males, using sex to dominate or humiliate another man. It is a logical interpretation, since the concept homosexuality as an orientation was unknown at the time.

Furthermore, it is actually impossible to lie with a man the same way as lying with a woman. The Hebrew text used the word mishkavei (משכבי) which doesn't really mean "lyings": it means couches or beds. It can actually also be translated to read that two men shouldn't have sex on a woman's bed.

Finally, Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 never mention any sexual orientation, so calling it a prohibition against homosexuality is an interpretation (though fundamentalist Christians rarely if ever acknowledge the concept of interpretation when reading the scriptures...in translations. All translations are are interpretations.)

Romans 1:27 In the same way the men give up natural sexual relations with women and burn with passion for each other. Men do shameful things with each other, and as a result they bring upon themselves the punishment they deserve for their wrongdoing.

What IS the deal with gay people?! I'm not sure what the question is asking, so ill answer it MYYYY WAYYY:

Homosexuality is a trait someone is born with, and is NOT a choice. Someone cannot change their sexuality, and the attempts to do so may lead to utter insanity. Not everyone who is gay is as annoying, girly, preppy, and has a high voice and a lisp, as the typical stereotype goes. So, in response to the question i THINK is being asked, there is nothing wrong with gay people, since they act no differently for the most part as straight people act.

Just like with straight people, some are rude, some are always late, some are cheap.

And some are generous, helpful and polite.

You get the same mix among gays as you get anywhere else.

Absolutley nothing! Some people's people religion say that its wrong to be gay because you cant have children, but its not wrong, you cant change who you are, not really.
