The fawn is kidnapped by the White Witch and cast into stone in her yard. When Aslan takes Lucy and Susan to the White Witch's castle they find Mr. Tumnus' statue. Aslan then reverses the magic and he is freed. He goes on to fight in the battle and attend the King Queen ceremony at Care Paravelle

Mr. Tumnus is a fictional character from C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia" series. In "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," Mr. Tumnus is arrested by the White Witch but later rescued by Lucy and Aslan. He plays a key role in the story and is ultimately freed from the Witch's control.
