As someone with CVID, I've studied this at length, asked my specialists, and come up with some personal guidelines (though I'm not in the medical profession). CVID often includes low stomach acid levels, celiac-like effects on intestinal villi (due to T-cells, not gluten), IBS and malabsorption issues (especially B12). We have low energy levels / fatigue and lots of upper respiratory infections. SO - consider vitamin-rich fruits and veggies (vitamin C and D), cutting out gluten to see if it helps (50% of CVID sufferers' villi are helped by this), lean proteins and I supplement with vitamin smoothies (lots of C, D and B complex). Adding flax seeds to salads and / or the smoothies once a day helps regulate the IBS immensely. Sugar and dairy mean more sinus infections in my case. If I want to splurge, a glass of organic wine seems to be fine. Be sure to drink only purified bottled water (never tap), eat only well-cooked meats and avoid sushi as we are highly susceptible to intestinal pathogens.

What is the independent variable and dependent variable in Algebra - X is and Y is?

Any variable can be declared as the independent variable, then the other would be the dependent variable. However, it is quite common to arbitrarily define y as the dependent variable - a variable that depends on x.

What are dependent and independent variable in algebra?

the dependent variable is the y-value. the dependent variable means it relys on another variable for its answer. without the other variable this variable would not exist. the independent variable is the x-value. the independent variable can exist on its own without the dependent variable. i mention x-values and y-values... this is only if you are using an x and y value for your application. there are other applications... like speed... where the dependent variable for speed would be time and the independent variable for speed would be distance. and for acceleration the dependent variable would be speed and the independent variable would be distance.

What is the name of independent variable?

The term 'independent variable' is normally used to refer to the variable that you are investigating in an experiment. A common colloquial definition is 'The variable you change' which is helpful, but not always clear. AQA (A UK examination board) defines it in the following way 'The independent variable is the variable for which the values are changed or selected by the investigator' Aims of experiments are often written in the form 'How does X affect Y?' X would be the independent variable and Y the dependent variable.
