Read the oil fill cap. should be 5w30. could be 10w30. just don't run the 10w30 in the cold if you live in a place where winter time temps go below 30 degrees....at least that's the general rule as it gets really thick & when you start it up in the morn your engine will be rubbing metal to metal.
