Butterflies nomatter what size will eat sugar water. take two teaspoons of sugar mix it in a cup of water and squirt a little on a flower but you have to be carful because if the surgar water gets on its wings the butterfly will not be able to fly. you could also feed it a sliced grape, orange slice, or gatorade.

They don't eat. In fact, they can't eat anything. Because they don't have the mouth parts as a moth. Instead, they eat lots of food as larvae while they DO have the mouthparts and store the energy for when they become a moth.

During its caterpillar stage the giant grey moth caterpillar can be found on plants of the dogbane family. Once the caterpillar changes into a giant grey moth it then feeds on the nectar from the same plant species.
