What do solids and liquids share?
I'm not exactly sure what you're wanting to get from this question, but I can tell you these things for sure: solids have a definite shape liquids do not solids and liquids both have a definite volume solids and liquids have a definite mass Those are just some of the basics, if you want to get more into detail with the things solids and liquids share, besides there properties, then I suggest you research it. Solids and liquids are essentially incompressible.

What causes frothiness generally in liquids?
Actually, well this will sound unbelievable but to make things frothy, such as milkshakes and smoothies, most people use ...... POTATOES!! Well, of course they're mashed potatoes! Answer: Frothiiness depends on aeration (getting bubbles of air or carbon dioxde into the fluid) and the presence of a surfactant material or similar in the fluid to cause the surface tension of the mixture to increase. These surfactants can be soaps, sugars, starches, proteins, alcohols. Common observations of milkshakes, beer, soapy water, cake batter confirm this.
