that all depends on how you take care of the engine.
Chevy Cobalt has a sealed Automatic Transmission... no dip stick. Probably best to take it in to get service by trans shop if you think it needs changing or re-filling. Thanks, Wes

No contest, Cobalt SS by about 2 seconds in a 1/4 mile race. Cobalt SS could take corvettes from 1975-early 1980's.
If it's orange colored it's dex-cool.
It is under the hood. Right next to the motor. You have to take the plastic off.

The timing chain is located on the left side of the engine, to access it you will need to take off the manifold cover.
