Well, if you are from Australia like me you would think that every plant grows there. I am saving to go though.

The geographic North Pole is in the Arctic Ocean. There is no land for at least 700 miles in any direction. The ocean is covered with sea ice, which varies in thickness between 2 and 3 meters. The ice pack drifts and is unstable; sometimes it smashes together, forming pressure ridges and sometimes it splits apart to expose open water. There are no visible plants at the North Pole, at any time of the year.

The only plant life in the Arctic Ocean is phytoplankton, which is mainly found away from the North Pole, where it can get more light and feed off the nutrients from the rivers that flow into the ocean from the continents.
