How do you adjust a transmission passing gear cable on a 95 chevy tahoe /

I dont think a 95 Transmission will fit in the 98. From what i've been seeing, in my 98' Tahoe, the starter is mounted on the bellhousing of the transmission. I dont think that the 95 would have the same set up when 96-7 wouldnt also. As far as I know, you have to have a transmission that is 98 or newer. Could I be wrong though?

No it wont but I am looking for a 95 tahoe tranny

You may use your regular 10W 30.

It's bolted in the transmission tail shaft housing if it is a 2-wheel drive. The 4-wheel drives have them in the transfur case tailshaft housing.

NO. The 95 transmission is a electronic / computer controlled transmission. The 1984 does not HAVE the electronics to make the 95 transmission work.

Just pull it out of the hose and install the new one.
