What kinds of pediatrics is there?
There are infants, children, and adolesants. and pediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with what i just listed.
It was actually started by Abraham Jacobi who was born in Germany in 1830. Hes considered the father of pediatrics and founded the first childrens clinic in the United States. Oh, and someone did just say "I'm gonna call it Pediatrics!" idiot... it comes from the Greek language meaning healer of children.

Within the United States, I have never been made aware of a bachelor's degree in pediatrics. That being said, a pediatrician is a physician with a specialty in pediatrics. This would take four years of undergraduate coursework, an additional four years of medical school, and a minimum of three years of internship and residency.
