The five different species of penguins as well as other migratory bids like the skuas, the Giant Antarctic Petrel, Cape petrel, Storm Petrel, Snow Petrel and even the Antarctic Fulmars provide ample amount of Antarctica Entertainment. There are almost 60 different types of birds and 14 species of animals which together form a part of Antarctica Entertainment.

The crowd sucking entertainment in Antarctica includes a view of the penguins frolicking in the waters, the rockhopper penguins found on New Islands, the downy brown colored Adeline penguins, the humpback whales, an encounter with a leopard seal and the sky soaring albatrosses.

The cruises offer a wide range of entertainment at Antarctica like sailing across the Ross Sea, Antarctic Peninsula, Falklands, South Georgia, Antarctic Circle enveloping the Weddell Sea, Shakleton Odyssey and also a trip to the Climbers and Kayakers.

The most convenient way to reach Antarctica is via ships which carry 45 to 280 passengers, depending on their capacities. There are almost 20 vessels available to carry out voyages to Antarctica. At times these voyages might include visits to historical huts, emperor penguin colonies and dry valleys.

'Entertainment' is passive; people who tour or work in Antarctica participate in active activities made possible by this exotic landscape and extreme cold.

When we wanted to relax, we would read, work on hand-made crafts, tell stories and generally enjoy each other's company.

Leisure activities are generally confined to in-door recreation, and vary according to the assets of the research station.

Hiking along a flagged route is one activity that is available out of doors and access to this activity depends on the weather conditions.
