Arcanine doesn't learn flamethrower in any Pokemon games, if you want to teach him, give him the TM flamethrower (TM35). However, if you waited till lv 50, a growlithe can indeed learn flamethrower on its own. Unfortunately, arcanine would not learn extremespeed as a result.
Ah but it does, if you get it up to level 50 it will learn flamethrower then evolve it using a fire stone and when it has evolved it will learn extremespeed
soz if answer is a bit late
Unfortunately, Arcanine does not learn Flamethrower. Your must level your Growlithe up to lv 50 to learn Flamethrower and then evolve it to Arcanine in order for Arcanine to have the move.
Only its former evolution, Growlthe, can learn it before it. When you evolve Arcanine, it cant learn ANY of growlthes moves, but can learn extreme speed at level 33. Or you could just teach Arcanine flamethrower by using the TM flamethrower, otherwise, you will have to level up a growlithe until it learns flamethrower then evolve it into an arcanine.
Arcanine learns Extremespeed at Lv. 49, which is the same level that Growlithe learns Flamethrower. So, if you want Flamethrower and Extremespeed, use the Fire Stone on Growlithe only at level 49.
Growlithe can learn the move Flamethrower at Level 34. This doesn't change if you give it a Fire Stone and make it an Arcanine either. ~Lucario
He cant learn any moves after you evolve him from growlithe with a firestone. -Wirets Edit- You are wrong, Arcanine can learn moves after you evolve it. At level 33 it can learn Extreme speed.
It's Level 58 or 59.
Growlithe does not learn Extremespeed, only its evolved form, Arcanine, learns Extremespeed at level 49. Note that this is the same level that Growlithe learns flamethrower, which Arcanine can only learn through a TM, so if you want both Extremespeed and Flamethrower, evolve Growlithe at level 49. Route 8, 35, 36 and 37, you can catch a growlithe. Level it up and it will learn ember then flame wheel and at 50 it learns flamethrower. Evolve it with your firestone right after growlithe learns flamethrower and then have arcanine learn extremespeed after it evolves.
Cyndaquil can learn Flamethrower at level 37.
never Wrong. A Growlithe can learn Flamethrower at level 50. However, an Arcanine cannot, so I suggest you raise your Growlithe to level 50, evolve it with a Fire Stone, and let the rest take its course.
Growlithe can learn Flamethrower at level 50 so if you evolved it into Arcanine before it reached that level, it would not be able to learn that move by itself. You can, however, find a Move Tutor in front of the Goldenrod City Game Corner every Wednesdays and Saturdays after you beat the Elite 4 and, for 4,000 coins (Coin Case needed), you can teach your Arcanine the move.
Yes and no. Growlithe learns it at Level 50, but Arcanine, like many other Pokémon that evolve with an Evolutionary Stone, learns no moves by leveling up.
Blaziken does NOT learn flamethrower. but torchiccan. at level 42 i think!
Houndour will learn flamethrower at level 48
Houndour learn flamethrower at 43 level (Pokemon platinum)
Blaziken can only learn Flamethrower by TM, as it cannot learn it by leveling up. However, as a Torchic, it can learn Flamethrower at some level around level 50.
In Pokemon Silver, Gold and Crystal, it can learn it only with the move tutor in Goldenrod City.
emboar learn flamethrower at levle 43.
Skuntank learns flamethrower at level 34.
It can't learn it. You must level up your Growlithe to level 48, then evolve it into an Arcanine.
it can't learn flamethrower by itself but you can give it the TM flamethrower, you get that from the game corner
He can't learn flamethrower. But you can give him a TM (flamethrower).
It learns Flamethrower at level 34.
Quilava learns flamethrower at level 54
