Why was the Titanic unique?

What made the survivors so unique was that they were the only people who saw what happend and now nearly all of them are dead which really stinks for us because we could use some of that information to do really cool things and to find really cool things. And there were so little survivors from the shipwreck its so horrible to think that almost all of them are dead now.So that's what makes them reall really unique and really really cool!

The Titanic had many luxuries on board. It's passengers were all very wealthy, as the tickets were very expensive. Furthermore, the ship was built with very many revolutionary designs. For example, the ship had many section below deck, so that if one section were to take in water, it would immediatley seal itself off, and the other sections could keep the ship afloat.

"She" was built by Belfast's Harland and Wolff shipyard. She was incorporated with the latest technological advances and lifeboats exceeded safety standards of the day but really there was only enough room for less then half the passengers and crew. It was also supposedly "unsinkable".

The titanic wasn't anything new in its shape or design, the ship wasn't anything new. She did however have the best technology of the time on board. Her sister the rms Olympic was fitted out the same but titanic did differ slightly. Titanic had extra cabins, a new Parisian cafe and a sheltered promenade. Titanic would of been much more spacious than other ships.

At the time it was the biggest ship and it had been designed to be practically unsinkable. However, this was based on the original plans and not on the final build where there were significant cash cutbacks and bulkheads were made smaller which led to the incoming water gushing over the top and causing a bow line sink.
