Well Charles... worms know they are worms when they dream about pomegranates and knitting needles. Then they have a craving for brown muchy stuff. They realize that the knitting needle remind them of their ancestors name Wormelius and Snorm. The ancestors talk to them through a banana and they now know they are worms... DUH everyone knows that!
