will robots act in the best interest of humanity?
Robots are useful to us because they are smarter than most people these days. They have a ''brain'' that functions to do the things that most humans would find as too much ''effort'' or ''boring''. Robots are just like humans but better because they are only programmed to do certain things. BUT robots can kill you.
Actually, they don't. A robot is like a computer, and humans store information in it in such a way that it is trained to "know" certain things, sort of like you train a dog.
As yet, a robot would be considered a machine. And with machines, you can always get another one, as identical with the first as to make no difference. With humans, that's not considered possible. We aren't interchangeable. There will always be important differences. When you ask humans, humans are more important. When you ask robots, whatever humans tell them will be the response they give.
Because... we should be aware of the differences in cultures. Differences in cultures are what makes humans 'interesting'. Every culture has the right to coexist with others of a different culture - without fear of harassment or prejudice.
Yes. Many robots that are invented today have an "Artificial Intelligence", which makes them act like a human.
