Does the starter work? if yes is there spark ?if yes is there fuel?
If it is fuel injected. It is likely the computer, that run the fuel injection system. This is located behind the glove box.
check if you have fuel and spark it needs both to work
I had this problem with my 95 sidekick. It was the fuel filter gone bad.
there isn't one ( 96 it start that year) you only have a cam sensor in the base of the distributor.
Maybe something with the safety switch on the clutch, or the wiring going to the starter. May be ignition switch also.
piston get stucked in the cylinder
Saturn, Suzuki, Shelby, Subaru, Saleen, and Sunbeam.
There could be several reasons why your 1995 Suzuki Sidekick won't start. Common issues include a dead battery, faulty starter motor, or a problem with the ignition system, such as a bad ignition switch or spark plugs. Additionally, issues with fuel delivery, like a clogged fuel filter or a failing fuel pump, could prevent the engine from starting. Checking these components systematically can help identify the root cause.
If it is the same plug every time, I would say the plug or wire is grounding out some where. Try replacing the plug the the wire.
