∙ 14y agoThe best guess is frozen carbon dioxide, ammonia, water ice, with a mixture of dirt like material and some organics. Essentially the same things comets are made of--big dirty ice balls.

If you mean a large trans-Neptunian object: dwarf planet 136199 Eris then you have made a mistake. The dwarf planet Eris is thought to be quite white.
