You would die. Without the immune system even the smallest disease would stay in your body at least 5 times longer if not ever leave. The immune system fights of diseases and without it, our body's would be open to attack. Without the immune system you would be lucky if you made it to 10 years old, which would be a miracle. This is the reason we are fighting for Cure aids, AIDS kills the immune system, leaving the body open to many diseases in which medicines are constantly applied to kill them. If a bad enough disease gets in there, without anything to ward it off, Its game over.

Your immune system protects you from getting sick and fights off illness when you do catch something. Without it, you could become very ill and have no way to naturally combat it, possibly resulting in death.

There are two types of abnormality to which the immune system is prone. If it is not active enough, you become vulnerable to opportunistic infection and cancer. If it is too active, you can suffer from various auto-immune diseases. Either of these problems can easily be fatal. So it is very good to have an immune system that functions normally.

If the body's immune system was no longer there (or active), the response would be much the same as the immune system in a person who is HIV+. HIV disrupts the immune system process of keeping the body healthy by directly infecting the helper T-cells which send help to the specific part of the body that is in need. If someone does not have an active (or otherwise) immune system, foreign substances will enter the body and nothing will be there to prevent the substance from making the body sick.

The immune system "learns" from what it is exposed to throughout life. It can recognize pathogens quicker and begin fighting the illness because of being exposed to it before. Without that "learning" we'd constantly get sick from something that we fought before-- for example, chicken pox. When people are said to have a "weak immune system" it can be that they've been chemically weakened (such as from a medical procedure), are in poor health, or are battling other infections.
