The main mineral are N-P-K or Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus. There are 13 other minerals that plants require in smaller amounts such as: Manganese, Magnesium, Boron, and Calcium. It depends on the plant as to how much of these minerals are needed. Some plants such as legumes can fix their own Nitrogen from atmospheric Nitrogen but most plants require that the soil contain the needed nutrients.

it depends on the type of plant. all plants are different and they shouldn't be treated differently. remember plants have feelings to. remember not all hippies are freaks and some even smell good to. never forget to feed your cat dog food before going to the office.

Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are the macro-minerals required by plants. Other minerals are called micro-minerals (required in lesser quantity), such as Zinc, sulphur, Mg, Mn, Ca, Cu, Fe etc.

What is the function of root hair cell?

The function of the root hair cell in plant is to absorb water and mineral salts.

Is The high concentration of mineral ions in the plant cells causes water molecules to move into the plant by diffusion?

False

What Four things that are carried in plasma?

Why do plants need minerals elements?

Plants get their mineral ions from a bumblebee pulling off a petal then escreting into the flower, giving the plant its ions.

What is the function of the specialized cells in the outer walls of the plant roots?

The specialized cells help to facilitate diffusion of substances into the plant (especially mineral ions and water). However the whole root system serves this process through acrive transport of the mineral ions which creates a diffusion gradient.

What is plasma made up of?

Plasma, in blood, is 90% water, and the rest is glucose, dissolved proteins, mineral ions, carbon dioxide, hormones and clotting factors.

What are proteins needed to build in organisms?

Almost everything with a structural function, enzymes, pores in the cell membrane to pump ions, receptors, etc.

What substances are present in the plasma?

We assume you mean blood plasma, not plasma the state of matter. In plasma the solvent is water. The solutes are proteins, ions, glucose, and a whole bunch of other minor or not-so-minor constituents (for example, if you're drunk, there's going to be some ethanol in there).

Do most animal cell membranes have proteins that pump sodium ions out of the cell and potassium ions into the cell?

Most animal cell membranes have proteins that pump ______ ions out of the cell and potassium ions into the cell

Why should you not expect the halides ions to dissolve in mineral oil?

halide ions strongly interact with the counter-ions. However, mineral oil is non-polar. To dissolve the halide ions (and the counter-ions) into mineral oil would drastically raise system energy. Thus it does not work. More simply, halide ions have a charge and won't easily dissolve in non-polar substances, since like-dissolves-like.

Do you need soil to plant a nectarine?

Yes you do, because otherwise the plant will not be able to absorb mineral ions found especially in soil. It is possible for plant to produce nectarine without the presence of soil, however close control will be required.
