The Lord of the Rings is the only trilogy with all three movies winning an Oscar (The Godfather: Part III was nominated for 7 Academy Awards but won none.)

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) won 4 Oscars: Best Cinematography, Sound, Score and Visual Effects.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) won 2: Best Sound Editing and Visual Effects.

And The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) won all 11 nominations: Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Editing, Art Direction, Costume Design, Sound, Score, Visual Effects, Makeup and Song. * No longer a trilogy, however: Raiders of the Lost Ark won 4 Oscars: Best Editing, Art Direction, Sound and Visual Effects. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom won for Best Visual Effects. And Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade won for Best Sound Effects Editing.
