The noises made by a dinosaur depended on the dinosaur's species. Because soft tissue is extremely rare to find preserved, very few dinosaur noises can be accurately theorized. Notable exceptions to this can be found in the crested herbovore species (i.e. Parasaurolophus) whose crests included hollw tubes not unlike a musical instrument. In general though, dinosaurs, by comparison to similar animals today probably made hissing, grunting, bellowing, roaring, chirping, birdsong, and/or growling noises. However, as with dinosaur coloration, all of this is speculation and, since no one has ever seen a live dinosaur, no one knows for sure.
