Snoopy is the dog in Peanuts. Mostly, Snoopy drives everyone crazy, he mostly spends his time sleeping on his orange dog house. He has a neck of imagination, he imagine's that he's a World War 1 flying ace, a chef, a spy, a person who's at a resort, and everything. Snoopy's best friend is a yellow bird named Woodstock. Woodstock is a good friend to Snoopy, but sometimes it gets stomped, squished, dragged, ran over and any other things that may happen to it. There are a lot of Woodstock birds around, but Snoopy finds his Woodstock in a nest on a old tree.
The way in which Snoopy was drawn never officially changed: like the other characters in "Peanuts", Snoopy just gradually evolved over time. "Peanuts" made its debut on 2 October 1950 and ran for nearly 50 years, which was plenty of time for the character drawings to change and become more complex.
