In addition to his most famous work The Mona Lisa (La Gioconda), Da Vinci was responsible for a number of paintings beginning with the Baptism of Christ (1475, painted with Andrea del Verrocchio - Da Vinci was, at that time, Verrocchio's pupil) and then many others right into the 1500s such as The Virgin and Child with St. Anne (1508) and La Gioconda herself between 1503 and 1506.
His most famous after the Mona Lisa is probably the Lady with an Ermine, dated to 1489-1490.
