Dextromethrophan, is the most common cough syrup. It is known to react with lithium carbonate (found in anti depressants or bipolar treatments) to some patients (Not all, don't freak out). If it isn't a cough syrup made of this, than i don't think anything should go wrong, the side effect of it being mixed with lithium shouldn't make you feel anything more than tired (so if your taking the medication and going off to bed, i'd think that is fine).
Maybe try some honey?
The physical property of reactivity is observed when lithium reacts with cold water, producing hydrogen gas and forming lithium hydroxide. This reaction occurs because lithium is a highly reactive metal and readily reacts with water.
When a small piece of lithium is dropped onto the surface of cold water, it reacts vigorously, releasing hydrogen gas and forming lithium hydroxide. This reaction can be exothermic and may result in the production of enough heat to ignite the hydrogen gas.
Lithium's molar mass is 6.941g/mol. To find the molar mass of an element, take the atomic weight on the periodic table in grams.
lithium hydroxide + carbon dioxide --> lithium bicarbonate
Lithium oxide - Li2O Three oxides of lithium are known: Li2O, Li2O2, LiO2.

Yes, some cold medicines contain ingredients that can increase your blood pressure. Consult your pharmacist or physician about any particular medicine you might take if you have hypertension.
Examples: lithium-ion batteries, thermonuclear bombs, crystals for XRS, medicines for schizofrenia, alloys, etc.
Ask your Dr. or a pharmacist, many of the meds for a cold combined with the meds that you are on cause high blood pressure
On the Zicam label, it states "DO NOT TAKE WITH OTHER MEDICINES CONTAINING ACETAMINOPHEN". Tylenol Cold nighttime coolburst contains acetaminophen. That would be a no-go.
lithium and cephialexin can you take these together
Lithium comes in tablets and capsules.
I'm not sure what the temperature has to do with it, but : alkali metal + water --> salt + hydrogen e.g. lithium + water --> lithium hydroxide and hydrogen Hope this helps! xxx
