First of all.. there is no such thing as Oregon University. It's Oregon State University, or University of Oregon. Both completely different. All colleges are party schools. Eugene (University of Oregon) is a drug town, total tweakers. And Corvallis (Oregon State) is just a normal party school, with… a beautiful campus. Hope this helped! And hopefully you're not picking a school based on parties. If you are, go to Florida :) Eugene is not a drug town though every town has its issues and bad areas; I'll admit that. I have lived in the Springfield-Eugene area my entire life and have attended the University of Oregon for the past few years. Eugene is a fairly liberal town (though not as liberal as Portland) with people from all walks of life. I'm not a partier myself, but I know people who are and Eugene has a great night-life. Any school you go to you'll find parties. The University of Oregon's campus is just as beautiful (if not more) as Oregon State. Additionally, Eugene is a much larger city than Corvallis therefore there are more things to do/see. Now you have both opinions, one from a Duck and if I had to guess I'd say the person before me is "Powered by Orange." ;) (Playful jest). Hope that helps. ( Full Answer )
