When an atom of one element is brought in contact with an atom of another element, electrons get transferred from one element to another.

However, if the atoms of same element come together then electrons are shared and not transferred. Exception to this is elements in noble gases.

To make static electricity what is the only part of the atom that moves?

In static electricity, the only part of the atom that moves is the electrons. When two surfaces rub against each other, electrons can move from one material to the other, leading to a buildup of static charge.

Which part of an atom is involved in charging objects?

The electrons in an atom are responsible for charging objects through the transfer of charge. When electrons are transferred from one object to another, one object becomes positively charged (loses electrons) and the other becomes negatively charged (gains electrons).

Which part of an atom is free to move?

Electrons are the part of an atom that are free to move. They orbit the nucleus in specific energy levels or shells and can be shared or transferred between atoms, allowing for the formation of chemical bonds.
