Well, the best answer there is to give is, "it depends". You may know that the nucleotides guanine and cytocine only bond with each other, and that thymene and adenine do the same. (Chargoff's rule.) Exampla gratia: T= 20% A= 20% 40 percent has been used. 60% remains. This is divided equally between the remaining two (Cytosene and Guanine) so: G= 30% C= 30% The actual percentages vary between species and organism. The specific ratio that you as a human have is part of who you are, though order, of course, also matters.

Since guanine is paired with cytosine, that means 15% of them are cytosine as wel That means that the remaining 70% are halved between adenine and thymine.

15% C and 35% A and T because of Chargaffs LAw.

A double-stranded DNA molecule contains 30 percent guanine (G) What is the percent cytosine (C) in this molecule?

If the DNA macromolecule contains 20% G (guanine), then by Watson-Crick complementarity it must contain 20% C (cytosine). Together this equals 40%, so the percent that is A (adenine) and T (thymine) together is 60%. By Watson-Crick complementarity, then, the percent A in the molecule is half of 60: 30%.
