Why do people like you generalize rap music, and try to make us all look bad? Just cuz you see a few knuckleheadz on tha TV sayin somethin that you think iz degrading, you think we all say those types of thingz in our music. Educate yourself. There's an exception to every rule, so, No, not ALL rap music degrades women. I personally don't like rap music cuz it's a sorry excuse for musical artistic endeavor. People who rap do so cuz they can't sing their way out of a paper bag!! But by and large, rap music denigrates black people by creating an image of sub-cultural,uneducated lowlifes. And i AM educated.

∙ 14y agoI don't think rappers degrade women, I believe women need to stop degraded themselves, the Maury Show expose women every day who don't know their "Baby Daddies" ,is Maury guilty of degraded women? No! The rappers are basically doing the same thing Maury's is shedding light on some situations.
