95%
It's estimated that about 5% of our thinking, decision making, and actions are controlled by our conscious mind, while the remaining 95% is influenced by our subconscious mind. This means that a large part of our behaviors, beliefs, and emotions are driven by subconscious processes that we may not be fully aware of.
The mind is often said to consist of the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The conscious mind is responsible for logical thinking and decision-making, while the subconscious mind controls automatic responses and stores memories, beliefs, and emotions.
The conscious mind is aware of our thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment, while the subconscious mind operates below the level of consciousness and influences our behavior based on past experiences, beliefs, and memories. The conscious mind is like the tip of the iceberg, visible and easily accessible, whereas the subconscious mind is like the larger part of the iceberg hidden beneath the surface.
The subconscious mind is part of our mental functioning that operates below the level of conscious awareness. It stores memories, beliefs, and past experiences that can influence our thoughts, feelings, and actions without us being consciously aware of them. Freud proposed that the subconscious mind plays a significant role in shaping our behavior and personality.
The conscious mind becomes aware of subconscious activity through processes like introspection, reflection, and therapy. By paying attention to feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, individuals can uncover and interpret subconscious motives, beliefs, and desires that influence their conscious experience. Through practices like mindfulness and dream analysis, people can also create bridges between the conscious and subconscious realms to gain insight into their inner workings.
Psyche refers to the mind, especially as the center of thought, emotion, and behavior in a person. It encompasses aspects such as consciousness, cognition, and personality. Parts of the psyche can include the conscious mind, subconscious mind, and unconscious mind.

There are conscious thoughts that you're aware of and subconscious ones that you're not.

Emotions are part of the conscious mind, as well as the subconscious. When emotions are involved, the conscious mind is working normally. It is suppression of emotions that is abnormal.
You can be unconscious or you can listen to your subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind (technically, the unconscious mind) produces dreams while the conscious mind rests in sleep. See the attached link for more information.
We are conscious of everything we are aware of,this creates conscious impressions in our mind, but when we are not conscious of,meaning we do not conceptualize or are not aware of due to lack of meaning our minds are set in a state of limbo as it seeks to understand. At this point thoughts become subconscious, and an unresolved question is posed in the subconscious mind. The answer to that question is the impression we get.
The mind is modeled as a midget riding an elephant. The midget is the conscious mind, The all-powerful is the subconscious mind. The subconscious has the mentality of a 7-year old, in fact the 7 year old that each of us once was. The subconscious is obedient and continues to carry out the 7-year old's agenda. The midget conscious has no power of it's own, and that is why many fail who desperately want to succeed. Autosuggestion is the process whereby the midget conscious changes the beliefs of the subconscious elephant. Once convinced of it's new beliefs. the subconscious begins to automatically carry out the desired plan of the conscious mind. Success is then automatic, just as we arrive at our pre-suggestion fate at the will of the 7-year old subconscious.
Personally do not think that you can, the sub conscious being below the conscious. It is far better to use the conscious to reason things out. The concious is master over the sub conscious.
