Menes was an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh who is credited with uniting upper and lower Egypt. King Menes also started the first Dynasty.

Menes was an ancient pharaoh of Egypt, and the founder of the first dynasty. His own identity is unclear, and scholars do not know who his parents were.

It was also the time when the pharaoh, King Menes, created Egypt by uniting the two parts of Egypt, also known as Upper and Lower Egypt, into a single kingdom.
