There does not appear to be a scientific term to describe the fear of garbage. Perhaps the fear stems from a fear of what might happen if trash is not disposed of properly. This could mean a possible insect infestation, strong negative odors, or the perception that others wll ridicule or judge you harshly because of it. Bacteria growth on exposed garbage could also lead to illness.
