Even very neurotic people are not actually afraid of themselves, but many people do fear that they are in some way not good enough. They fear their own weakness. But it's not really a phobia, it's a lack of self confidence.

== == Hellophobia is the name of the phobia relating to the fear of the Greek or Greek culture I'm not sure if there is specifically a fear of Greeks, although xenophobia (pronounced zeno) would be a good one to use. It means fear of foreigners, strangers et cetera. Since the word "Greek" has its origins in the greek word "Graikos", the prefix graiko- would fit. The word would then be "Graikophobia".
A phobia is a fright, so get rid of it the way you do any other fright; grow out of it, face it, see a phychiatrist, and some don't go away. Ever. A phobia is an irrational fear. Irrational fears usually come from the subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy deals directly with the subconscious mind and a good hypnotherapist can help a person overcome their phobia.
Santaphobia - An abnormal, persistent fear of Father Christmas A good way of avoiding the tears that so often ruin photos of kids with Santa is to back the child onto Father Christmas's knee. Small children often react more to Santa's size than out of a phobic fear and height differences are less apparent when seated. Hagiophobia seems to be the closest named phobia. It is the fear of saints or holy things.
