The only proof that Jesus rose from the dead is The Bible. You can find in the Bible something about Jesus rising from the dead and ascending into Heaven. That is pretty much the only proof there is.

for 40 days after resurection he spoke to the disiples because they have not learned as much yet. The last day he spoke to them he stated that he would not drink the wine until his return. He was taken to heaven in the clouds by the angels and one angel stated to the apostoles that the way you see him rise is the same way you will see him return. 11 men saw that. that is the proof. Also the females that went to attend his tomb saw him alive.

Many would say that Jesus was either "Just a man" or that "there is no proof of Jesus at all" but through history and archeaology we find that there is ample evidence for both the existence of Jesus and his divinity. Jesus himself stated that He is the son of God, the Messiah [or Christ], and God himself. The proof of this lies not only in the written testimony of the apostles who walked with Jesus for several years but from many outside sources as well. One prolific source of Jesus was the skeptic Celsus (~178 ad) who, while attempting to discredit Christianity wrote that... "Jesus had come from a village in Judea, and was the son of a poor Jewess who gained her living by the work of her hands. His mother had been turned out by her husband, who was a carpenter by trade...Jesus gathered around him ten or eleven persons of notorious character... tax-collectors, sailors, and fishermen... [He was] deserted and delivered up by those who had been his associates, who had him for their teacher, and who believed he was the savior and son of the greatest God. Those who were his associates while alive, who listened to his voice, and enjoyed his instructions as their teacher, on seeing him subjected to punishment and death, neither died with nor for him... but denied that they were even his disciples, lest they die along with Him... Jesus accordingly exhibited after His death only the appearance of wounds received on the cross" Celsus also tried to explain away Jesus's miracles by stating, "He [Jesus] returned home highly elated at possessing these powers, and on the strength of them gave himself out to be a god... It was by means of sorcery that He was able to accomplish the wonders which He performed... Let us believe that these cures, or the resurrection, or the feeding of a multitude with a few loaves... These are nothing more than the tricks of jugglers" This text establishes not simply the existence of Jesus, but his deeds as well. Another secular source of the existence of Jesus is the Roman historian Tacitus. In his Annals he writes, "Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judea the first source of the evil, but even in Rome." Adding to this proof are the abundance of Christian writings. To address the original question, the proof of the divinity of Christ has excellent foundation. Starting with the secular sources we have the testimony of Pliny the Younger stating that the early Christians "sang hymns to Christ as to a god" Also, there are the testimony of the men who walked with Jesus during his ministry. The gospels themselves were written by men who either walked side by side with Jesus during his ministry, or by men closely associated with the apostles and Jesus's family. On top of this, we have further written testimony of the apostles... Peter said, "For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain." (2 Peter 1:16-18)

John said, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life-the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness... that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1:1-3)

Paul said, "For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas [Peter], then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present... After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also" Paul also states, "I persecuted this Way [Christianity] to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women...and went to Damascus to bring in chains even those who were there to Jerusalem to be punished. Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me. And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?' So I answered, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said to me, 'I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting." Archaeology has found copies of the christian gospels dating to within 15-30 years of the time of Jesus himself and letters written by the apostles to around 70 AD. Most importantly, a copy of the gospel of Matthew was found dated to around 50 AD. It is known to be a copy of the original, which sets the original date back further. The gospel records not only the preaching of Jesus, but the miracles, Crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus as well.

A Second Answer (by Arianna Lovendino):

The Holy Bible, my friend, is the only thing that you need in order to prove that Christ Jesus is the son of God. It is not just a book, but a book of truth, a book that contains the word of God, a book that serves as the sole basis of the true Christian faith.

Here are a few verses that prove that Christ Jesus is the son of God and therefore not God:

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not Yes and No, but in him it is always Yes. (2 Corinthians 1:19, English Standard Version)

13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" 14 And they said, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." (Matthew 16:13-16, English Standard Version)

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Mark 1:1, English Standard Version)

A:There is no proof that Jesus raised Lazarus, and substantial evidence that this event never really occurred.

The story of Jesus raising Lazarus is found in John chapter 11 and nowhere else in the Bible. In this story, Lazarus is the brother of the sisters Mary and Martha, who were good friends of Jesus. Scholars now recognise that John's Gospel was loosely based on Luke's Gospel, which is also the only other place where Lazarus and the sisters Mary and Martha are to be found. However in Luke, Jesus tells a parable about Lazarus dying and going down to hell, and of his hypothetical resurrection. The author of Johntook this parable and turned it into a real event in his gospel.

ANSWER:

The only proof we have is in the Bible itself. If you are a Christian and believe the Bible contains truth then Jesus raised Lazarus.

The story about Lazarus and the rich man is a completely different story than the Lazarus, who was a brother to Martha and Mary.

A:There is no proof that Jesus rose from the dead. Christians do believe there were witnesses to Jesus' resurrection, but this is not the case, as we can see from the history of the gospels.

The first New Testament gospel to be written was Mark's Gospel. Like all the New Testament gospels, it was originally anonymous until attributed to Mark later in the second century. This earliest gospel originally ended at verse 16:8, with the young man telling the women that Jesus was risen and they fled in terror telling no one. The 'Long Ending' (verses 16:9-20) was added much later and has no historical significance. Certainly, the other gospels do have accounts of the risen Jesus being seen by the disciples and others, but these stories are so divergent that at most only one of them could be true. Furthermore, New Testament scholars tell us that the Gospels of Matthew and Luke were substantially based on Mark's Gospel, and that John's Gospel was, in turn, loosely based on Luke. This is evidence that the authors knew nothing about the mission of Jesus other than what they learnt from their source, and if they knew nothing about the mission of Jesus, they knew nothing about his resurrection. The various resurrection stories in Matthew, Luke and John were written by the authors themselves, to meet the needs of their intended audiences. Theresurrection story in Mark was written by another unknown author long after the gospel was written and widely circulated.

Paul, in his epistles, seems to have believed that the resurrection of Jesus was a purely spiritual one. The author of Mark also saw the resurrection and ascension as one and the same event, but says that the only witnesses, the women, told no one.
