How does the shape of water make life possible?

Cause God made it like that. If you want to go into detail, it has three main properties such as a boiling point that gives us liquid water, ice that is less dense than water, so it floats, and its a good polar solvent.

Why water isuniversal solvent?

Is isn't really. Well, it's referred to as such, but it's not really the universal solvent. Because not everything dissolves in it. So science lied to you. Welcome to the real world Jimmy. It happens. Go try to do some applied physics. Doesn't make much sense either. That's just how it is.

How does the polarity of water molecules make water an effective solvent?

The polarity of the water molecule is what makes water a great solvent. It called the universal solvent.

Will solvent in water make it freeze faster?

no,only ice

What is water when salt is dissolved into water?

Water is the solvent and salt is the solute. Together they make a solution of salt water.

A substance that does the disoliving in a mixture?

A solute is dissolved in a solvent. Water and alcohols make good solvents.

Make a sentence with the word solvent?

When you dissolve salt into water, the salt is the solute while the water is the solvent.

When you make a solution of Koo-aid and water is the solute or solvent?

The Kool-Aid is the solute because the solute is the thing that dissolves, and the water is the solvent because the solvent is the thing that dissolves something. Solute=Kool-Aid Solvent=Water

What is the solvent in NaCl?

What are two substances make up a solution?

A solvent and a solute make a solution. For example common salt and water form a solution. Here water is solvent and common salt is solute.

What is the solute and solvent of seawater?

The solvent of sea water is obviously water and the solute is salt...
