Someone who has the time to teach, listen, understand, be patient, knows the students strength and weakness. Every student has a different level in vocabulary and verbal skills. The teacher must work with the student to improve his or her skills.

I'd say laid-back and fun/ funny ( this only really works if you are youngish.) If you're not just be kind and helpful, also be this if you are young. Set rules but not ridiculous ones.Just be someone they can go to when they need help, but who they can have fun with. This sounds sort of mean, but if you tell them stories about yourself don't go on and on, keep it short and sweet; otherwise it gets a bit weird and annoying. Also, if they disobey your rules tell them, I found names on board a bit annoying, but give warnings and then detention (not just detention!)

Hope this helped! :D PS. I'm at high school at the moment, sorry if this was the wrong age group, but it kinda applies for all.)
